Lloyd's passion for vocals begin at a very young age in children's choirs progressing on to adult choral work. He performed in classical and contemporary performances including musicals all while receiving voice training beginning in intermediate school. His high school choral group, RH singers had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall.
At age 14, Lloyd became the youngest full time member of The Rochester Oratorio Society under the direction of Maestro Roger Wilhelm and Maestro Eric Townell. While a member of the Rochester Oratorio Society, he performed with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Christopher Seaman and Jeff Tyzik. During this time Lloyd also studied private voice at the studio of the late Derrek Smith at Eastman School of Music.
Upon his acceptance into The College of Saint Rose Music Industry Program he was awarded a voice scholarship in addition to his academic scholarship. The College of Saint Rose Music Industry Program has been named one of the top 35 "Schools of Rock" since 2011 by Billboard. While at Saint Rose, Lloyd performed with the college chorus and continued with private voice training.
Presently, Lloyd continues to pursue his love of contemporary music in multiple band incarnations and collaborations.
